Al Gurg Charity Foundation signs MOU with Dubai Charity Association

ESAG Charity Foundation has signed an MOU with Dubai Charity Association in order to promote and enhance cooperation for different charity initiatives inside and outside UAE. The MOU was signed by Abdulla Al Gurg - ESAG Charity Foundation Board’s member, Group General Manager of ESAG and Ahmed Mohamed Mesmar the General Manager of Dubai Charity Association. 

Abdulla Al Gurg said the agreement aims to utilise Dubai Charity Association’s experience to implement a number of charitable and humanitarian projects that the Charity Foundation intends to implement both inside and outside UAE. He also mentioned previous cooperation with Dubai Charity during which the Foundation donated funds for 11 construction projects outside UAE (9 Mosques, a home for orphans and for the underprivileged) at a total cost of AED 800,000 in Tajikistan, Indonesia, Philippines, Cambodia, Mauritania and India. 

Under the new MOU the Foundation will sponsor 116 orphans outside UAE with annual cost exceeding AED 200,000 in Lebanon, China, Sudan, Mauritania and Niger. Abdulla Al Gurg also mentioned that these donations will increase in the coming years as a part of the Foundation’s future vision, which will focus on the expansion of charitable projects both outside and inside the UAE. 

Ahmed Mesmar praised the partnership and the cooperation with the Charity Foundation to achieve common charitable and humanitarian goals.  which looking forward from two parties, valuing Al Gurg charity’s. He expressed his admiration for the rapid development of ESAG foundation since its establishment in October 2011, and its efforts to help the sick, poor, orphans and the needy. He assured full support in terms of resources and expertise to the Charity Foundation in various aspects of charity inside and outside the country.
