Charity Foundation sponsors medical expenses for hearing disabled

​Mona Abdul Kareem, Deputy Director General of Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services recently met with Mrs. Raja Al Gurg, Chairperson, along with Dima Ekbariah - Specialist in Audiology to collect a donation of AED 250,000 for the cochlear implant operation costs for two persons with hearing disabilities. Mrs. Al Gurg spoke with the Humanitarian Services team regarding their charitable work as well as the importance of family assistance in supporting their children with special needs.

Dima also has indicated that the cochlear implant services, which was launched in 2011 aims to provide specialized services for children with hearing disabilities under medical supervision as well as their rehabilitation and integration into schools and society in general. Both She expressed her wish to continue the cooperation and coordination between Sharjah Humanitarian Services and ESAG Charity Foundation in order to provide more support and benefit to people with disabilities. Mona Abdul Kareem was also thankful of this agreement with the Foundation that would greatly assist the organization’s activities to help the disabled.
