Charity Foundation honours inmates at the Old People Home

A delegation from Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation visited the Old People’s Home in Sharjah to celebrate Mother's Day with them and spread some happiness among the inmates. The delegation was headed by Mrs Maryam Al Gurg, Director, ESAG, accompanied by Mohammad Farouk, Mrs. Samia Mohamed and some employees of the Foundation.

The delegation toured the different sections of the house, which offer services to the elderly from health care, social services, physiotherapy sessions, etc.

Mrs Maryam Al Gurg said that: "In 2017, our Foundation is implementing several new projects in keeping with the Year of Giving  initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi and confirmed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the UAE, President of the Council of Ministers and Ruler of Dubai, We have decided to share this initiative with  these elderly mothers and fathers. This is also a fundamental part of our social Islamic values which includes support and care for the elderly and meeting their needs.”

Mrs. Sharifa Al Ali, the in-charge of the Aged Home said that: “We thank Al Gurg Charity Foundation for supporting us with some of the medical devices necessary to provide care and comfort to our elderly inmates. I also would like to thank Mrs. Maryam Al Gurg for the flowers and gifts she presented to the elderly residents.”
