Foundation staff attend course on humanitarian emergency response skills

Under the patronage of The Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Work and with the cooperation of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Abu Dhabi, a training session was held to discuss tools and services required to respond to the humanitarian situation and the methods used in the field of humanitarian relief. The session was held at Kempinski Hotel, Mall of the Emirates in Dubai in the presence of managers and staff of various charities in Dubai.

This course was designed to enhance the skills of the staff working in the field of humanitarian assistance on how to respond to these situations, and included a range of presentations and exercises.

Lecture was presented by Majed Abu Kaba’a director of communication and information management, United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), and was attended by Ali Al Mansoori, Director of the Department of Charitable Institutions at Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai. Mohammed Farouk Accounts and Administration manager and Talal Al Bataineh, Administrative Officer attended from the ESAG Charity Foundation.
