Directed by this verse, the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation helps
individuals of the Muslim faith to perform Hajj and Umrah. The Foundation
has sponsoredholypilgrimages for special needs people and their families in
coordinationwithWomen’sUnionAssociation inSharjahand theAssociationof
families of personswithdisabilities. The Foundationhas alsoprovidedUmrah
assistance for NewMuslims in 2010 in collaboration with Islamic Affairs &
Charitable Activities Association. In addition, annual grants are provided to
deserving employees within the Easa Saleh Al Gurg Group LLC to help them
performHajj.

196. And complete the Hajj or ‘umrah in the service of Allah. But if you are
prevented (from completing it), send an offering for sacrifice, such as you may
find, and do not shave your heads until the offering reaches the place of sacrifice.
And if any of you is ill, or has an ailment in his scalp, (necessitating shaving), (he
should) in compensation either fast, or feed the poor, or offer sacrifice; andwhen
youare inpeaceful conditions (again), if anyonewishes to continue the ‘umrahon
to theHajj, hemustmakeanoffering, suchas he canafford it, he should fast three
days during the Hajj and seven days on his return, making ten days in all. This is
for thosewhosehousehold is not in (theprecincts of) the SacredMosque. And fear
Allah, and know that Allah is strict in punishment
