Placing great value on the importance of education, Al Gurg Charity offers continuous support to educational institutes
and students through various projects:
Al Gurg Charity School Scholarships
The Charity receives educational requests from poor families before the start of the academic year from all over the UAE.
Donation for full school sponsorship is provided after the necessary case studies.
Al Gurg Charity University Scholarships
Al Gurg Charity provides full scholarship to selected students till graduation in cooperation with universities in the UAE
such as: Zayed University, University of Sharjah, Ajman University of Science & Technology, American University of Shar-
jah, Dubai University and The Council of Education Care & Academic Affairs in Fujairah.
Schools & University Assistance for Poor Families
Al Gurg Charity receives assistance requests throughout the year from poor families. After each case is studied thoroughly
the decision to either assist in part or full amount of tuition fees is taken.

New beds project – Dubai Hospital
Medical Support
Al Gurg Charity Foundation supports many medical projects as it believes that the community as well as charitable or-
ganisations should facilitate the funding to assist poor families towards payment of expensive medical services. Some of
the projects in which the Foundation provides support are:
Um Al Quwain General Hospital
Al Gurg Charity Foundation has supported Um Al Quwain General Hospital for the purchase of essential medical devices
and equipment for several wards in the hospital including Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Physiotherapy and Neurology.
Thalassemia Center - Dubai Health Authority
Al Gurg Charity foundation has presented a donation to the Thalassemia Center through Emirates Transport to purchase 10
“Chrono” devices for Thalassemia patients to help them eradicate excess iron levels in their bodies.
Supporting Dubai Hospital with new beds
Al Gurg Charity Foundation has completed the payment for the supply and installation of beds and furniture in the differ-
ent wards of Dubai Hospital.
