Al Gurg charity is the main sponsor of the third mass wedding in collaboration with the Dubai

Women’s Association:

Al Gurg Charity has sponsored the third mass wedding under the patronage of the wife of His Highness Sheikh Moham-

med bin Rashid Al Maktoum UAEVice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikha Hind Bint Maktoum

bin Juma Al Maktoum, which was organized by Dubai Women’s Association. The decision to be the main sponsor of the

event was to help and encourage young Emiratis to marry for continuation of family bonding characterized by cohesion

and solidarity, and to get rid of expensive weddings costs, which is considered as a major obstacle for young men thinking

of marriage. The wedding ceremony was hosted for 28 couples.

Al Gurg Charity is always keen to cooperate and collaborate with other charities in the UAE in order to cover as many

areas as possible whether inside or outside the UAE. The Charity also works to cover the funding shortfall faced by some

of these associations and institutions, besides facilitating the exchange of experiences and information.

Dar Al Ber Society “The Committee of Needy Family” in Um Al Quwain

Al Gurg Charity Foundation provides annual support to the committee of needy families of Um Al Quwain in order to as-

sist the organization to deliver support and assistance to needy people in several ways such as: individuals with disabilities

and their families, medical assistance, educational assistance, aid for orphans, home maintenance, rent, utility charges

and Ramadan assistance.

Assistance to Charity Associations

Al Gurg Charity also provides annual help to some other charities such as: Dar Al Ber in Dubai, Beit Al Kheir, Dubai Char-

ity, Sharjah Charity, Um Al Mou’menin, SharjahWomen’s Association, Assoctiation of Families of Persons with Disabilities

and Fujairah Welfare Association.
