Scholarship agreement between Al Gurg Charity and the AUS

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasemi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah and President of American University of Sharjah (AUS) attended the signing ceremony of an agreement between Sir Easa Saleh Al Gurg and the university for the establishment of the HE Easa Saleh Al Gurg Professorship in International Studies and the Sir Easa Saleh Al Gurg Young Leaders Scholarship Fund at AUS made possible as a result of a generous gift of AED 10 million by Sir Easa.
The signing ceremony was also attended by Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Al Qasemi, Director of the Sharjah Urban Planning Department; members of the AUS Board of Trustees; and senior AUS officials.
The agreement was signed by HE Easa Saleh Al Gurg and Dr. Thomas Hochstettler, Acting AUS Chancellor. The board members expressed their appreciation for this initiative from a valuable friend of the university.
