Al Gurg Charity, since its establishment in 2010, has always been keen to allocate part of its budget to support centers for Holy Qur’an memorizing and Islamic centers. In teaching the Holy Qur’an and explaining it to people, there is greater closeness to God Almighty and obedience to His Holy Messenger (Peace Be Upon Him). Al Gurg Charity has sponsored the construction and establishment of the Fatima Abdullah Muhammad Rashid Center for Memorization of the Holy Qur’an and is the exclusive sponsor of the Center by covering all its administrative and operational expenses since its opening, including the salaries of employees and conservators, and maintenance expenses.
In May 2024, Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation covered the expenses of the annual Holy Qur’an memorizing competition in its fifth edition and the prizes presented to the students. The ceremony was held at the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Islamic Culture in Al Barsha, Dubai. It was attended by many dignitaries, the center’s employees, students and their families. The management of Islamic institutions affiliated with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai were also honoured. The celebration was also attended by Dr. Farid Al Gurg and Abdullah Al Shaibani, members of the Center’s Board of Directors, and Muhammad Farouk, Director of Al Gurg Charity, in addition to the employees of Al Gurg Charity.
