At Al Gurg Charity Foundation, we believe education transforms lives. To make learning accessible and equitable, we partner with leading UAE universities—including MBRU, University of Sharjah, Ajman University, American University of Sharjah, Dubai University, and Canadian University – to provide full scholarships that support students from admission to graduation.
We also assist low-income families by offering school scholarships, ensuring children from financially challenged backgrounds can access quality education. Throughout the year, the Foundation reviews individual requests and provides full or partial tuition support based on need.
Through these initiatives, we remain committed to empowering future generations with education, opportunity and hope.
Al Gurg Charity believes good health is essential for a strong community and works to ease the burden on patients and families facing medical challenges. We partner with leading healthcare organizations – including Dubai Health, Al Jalila Foundation, Thumbay Hospitals, and Axios – to fund life-saving treatments, critical surgeries, essential medications and advanced medical equipment.
We also review individual cases throughout the year, providing financial support for chronic illness management, cancer care, rehabilitation, and emergency treatments. Through these efforts, we remain committed to ensuring no one is denied essential healthcare due to financial hardship.
As part of our unwavering commitment to serve the most vulnerable in our society, our foundation provides comprehensive support to people of determination and orphans, ensuring they receive the care, dignity and opportunities they deserve.
We assist people of determination by covering medical treatment costs and rehabilitation center fees, while also supporting specialized centers such as Al Noor Center, Senses and the UAE Down Syndrome Association.
For orphans, we provide annual financial aid to support them and their families, along with educational assistance such as school fee payments and housing support. They also benefit from our seasonal initiatives, including Ramadan, Eid and School Bag projects, ensuring they are cared for throughout the year.

At Al Gurg Charity Foundation, one of our core missions is to provide essential, direct support to individuals and families in need. Through our headquarters, we extend a helping hand to those facing financial hardship, offering assistance that brings relief, dignity and hope.
Every month, our Social Research Department carefully reviews requests for support. Each application is assessed through a detailed case study process, including document verification and needs evaluation. Once reviewed, cases are forwarded to the Foundation’s management for approval.
Our monthly support covers a wide range of essential needs such as education fees, medical treatments, rent, utility bills and other critical living expenses. By addressing these fundamental needs, we aim to ease burdens and help individuals regain stability and move forward with confidence.
Al Gurg Charity Foundation runs a variety of seasonal initiatives throughout the year to support families in need during special times. During Ramadan, we provide food items through Ramadan Meer and daily meals through the Iftar Project. For Eid Al-Fitr, we distribute Eid clothes to bring joy to children and families, while our Sacrifice Project during Eid Al-Adha ensures Qurbani meat reaches those who need it most.
We also support education through our School Bag Project, helping students start the school year with confidence and the supplies they need.
Inspired by the UAE’s leadership in humanitarian work, Al Gurg Charity Foundation extends its impact beyond borders through active participation in regional and international relief initiatives. We proudly support efforts that reflect our nation’s values of compassion, generosity and global solidarity.
Over the years, we have contributed to a number of high-impact campaigns and emergency response efforts, including the Dress 1 Million Campaign, Chivalrous Knight and the Solidarity Initiative, among others. These initiatives aim to provide clothing, food, shelter and essential aid to those affected by crises and hardships across the region and beyond.
We build and maintain mosques to support worship, learning and community life. With the Dubai Charity Association, Al Gurg Charity Foundation has also helped construct 16 mosques across Asia and Africa.
Built in 2012 in the Al Karama area of Dubai, it accommodates up to 1,200 worshippers.
Built in November 2006 in the Al Warqaa area of Dubai, the mosque accommodates up to 1,200 worshippers.
Built in 2016 in the Al Barsha area of Dubai, it accommodates up to 1,200 worshippers. The mosque also includes a centre for Holy Quran memorisation.
Built in July 2012 in the Al Muhaisnah area of Dubai, the mosque accommodates up to 500 worshippers.
Built in November 1980 in the Al Jafiliya area of Dubai, the mosque accommodates up to 1,200 worshippers.
Al Gurg Charity Foundation supports Islamic education by providing annual assistance to several Islamic and Qur’an memorisation centres, including Al Siddiq Centre, Al Radwan Centre, Kalimah Centre for New Muslims, and the Fatima Rashid Centre for Qur’an Memorisation. These partnerships help promote Islamic knowledge and values among young people and new Muslims.
The Foundation also proudly funded the establishment of the Fatima Rashid Centre and continues to be its sole sponsor, covering all administrative, staffing and maintenance costs to ensure it remains a dedicated place of learning and spiritual growth.
