
With the approach of the Holy month of Ramadan, Al Gurg Charity renewed the agreement with Lulu Hypermarket to implement the ‘Ramadan Meer’ project for the year 1444/2023. The project targets low-income families registered at the organization, in an effort to provide them with the essential foodstuff before the beginning of the Holy Month.
Al Gurg Charity also renewed the cooperation agreement with Landmark Group, to implement the ‘Eid Clothing’ project for the year 1444/2023, by providing prepaid coupons for purchase from the various branches of Landmark stores, which include (CenterPoint, Max Fashion and Shoe Express in all the UAE emirates. These coupons help needy families purchase clothes, shoes, etc., and bring joy and pleasure to the hearts of children during the festive occasion.
The Meer cards and Landmark coupons were also shared with organizations such as Dubai Police for distribution to the families of prisoners, the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children and the Dubai Women’s Association to support the cases registered with them.
