Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation has donated One Million Dirhams to the ‘Solidarity’ initiative, in cooperation with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai. This donation will support needy families in the Emirate of Dubai who were affected by heavy rains.
The initiative was launched by the Community Development Authority in Dubai, inviting all government and private institutions, businessmen, and all others to participate in the initiative through the ‘Jood’ platform for community contributions, by providing assistance, to help needy families with limited incomes.
Chairperson of Al Gurg Charity, Dr Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg, said: “Our participation in the (Solidarity) initiative comes from our commitment to help those in need, and participating in community initiatives emanating from the vision of our leadership in charitable field, and we take this opportunity to praise the tireless efforts made by the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable activities in Dubai and the Community Development Authority in Dubai, for the success of this initiative”.
