His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, has honoured Al Gurg Charity Foundation, alongside several donors and supporters of the Faraj Fund. The recognition comes in appreciation of their efforts in supporting the Fund’s humanitarian initiatives and strengthening its role in extending assistance to inmates, insolvent convicts and their families across the UAE.
Talal Al Bataineh, Social Research Officer at the Foundation, received the award on behalf of the Al Gurg Charity Foundation, in recognition of the Foundation’s contribution and active support for humanitarian and social causes.
As part of its humanitarian efforts aimed at promoting social stability and easing living burdens on underprivileged families, the Foundation recently made a significant financial contribution to the Faraj Fund in Abu Dhabi. This contribution helped UAE citizens fully settle accumulated debts resulting from housing rental costs, easing psychological and financial pressures on them and their families.
