Our achievements in 2022

Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation is a private, non-profit organization that does not collect donations. It is fully funded by its founder, Easa Saleh Al Gurg – May his soul rest in peace. The Foundation was established in 2010 and is providing assistance to needy and low-income people in the UAE. The number of cases registered on the Foundation’s database have reached more than 13,000 from different nationalities and emirates in the UAE. The following details some of our achievements in the year 2022.

Al Gurg Charity has established number of annual seasonal projects such as Ramadan Meer (Food items), Ramadan Iftar project, Eid clothing, Audhia (sacrifice) project, and the school bag project. In addition to supporting a number of Islamic centers for memorizing Qur’an, such as Fatima Rashid Center in Al Barsha, Al-Siddiq Center, Al-Radwan Center, and Abdullah Bin Masoud Center. The Foundation also supported, through monthly aid around 1,185 cases in schools and universities, 1,530 with cash and Zakat aid, 383 cases of rental and house maintenance assistance, and 60 cases of treatment and health support.

Al Gurg Charity also has signed a new agreement with Ajman University to establish an endowment fund to support university students and graduates who are unable to pay university dues. An agreement was also signed with the Committee for Needy Families in Umm Al Quwain, which is affiliated with the Dar Al Ber Association, to support education in schools and universities. In addition to the Foundation’s participation in a number of initiatives, such as the initiative to assist the release of prisoners in cooperation with Faraj Fund in Abu Dhabi, and the purchase of medical devices and equipment for the Thalassemia Center of Dubai Health Authority, as well as participation in the school uniform initiative for students at government schools in Dubai.
